    Saffron express is a little gem of an Indian restaurant/takeaway hidden in the suburb of Alawa. The food is absolutely first class and authentic. You are able to dine in with limited inside and outside seating if you wish but it looks to be geared more to the takeaway market. We have taken away many times from this shop and have never been disappointed. They also offer a delivery service. If you enjoy good authentic Indian food with all the extras, then this is highly recommended.

    Great Indian food using a lot of local produce and recyclable containers with a very reasonable price.

    Good food and friendly welcoming staff. Agree that takeaway prices should be less than dine-in.

    Great value, I like that you don't have to pay an extra $5 for rice which should come with all Indian curries.
